Apollo High School’s programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they will need to lead satisfying and productive lives. The programs are intended to prepare students for further education and work, and to assist them in becoming independent, productive, and responsible members of society.

Apollo High School has the educational philosophy that knowledge is constructed by individuals and not deposited by an instructor. We aim to provide students with an education that stimulates thought and curiosity. The balance consists of providing students with enough of a challenge to provoke interest and thought, without overwhelming students or underestimating their potential.

A multicultural awareness also shapes our strategies and school philosophy as a whole, creating an environment where culturally relevant teaching can exist. The school system at Apollo High School has been organized to provide as broad a scope of programs as possible to all students and, at the same time, to deal effectively with the special needs and interests of students.

Hi, I’m Ryan!

I did my studies at Western University, double-majoring in Biology and Medical Sciences. I am also certified by the Ontario College of Teachers.

As a teacher, I have a wide variety of experiences spanning 7 years. In Canada, I have taught math at several different public high schools while also teaching science and math courses for GED students.

Internationally, I have prepared students in Korea for their university entrance exams in the areas of English and math in both small groups and one-on-one situations.

When I’m not busy making “fun” chemistry tests, I like to play Go and lift heavy things at the gym. I hope to see you in class soon!

John In , BSc, CompSc.

Hi, I am John. I am an administration officer at Apollo High School.

I have almost 20 years experience of counseling for international students who came to study in Canada. So, I treat them like their father, uncle, or senior because I have already lived in those days!

My major was Computer Science and I worked as a computer programmer and a consultant for office computerization before doing this job. That is why I am good at computers, so I communicate with students and parents in various ways. Apollo High School would be a good choice for students who really want to adapt to their study abroad in Canada and also who want to go to university/college after hard work.
